Try before you buy
If you are thinking of buying your own motorhome it makes eminent sense to try one (or more!) before you buy. There are so many different layouts and styles it is easy to plump for something which you find less than ideal with repeated use. The off season, when rates are so low and sites much less crowded, is the ideal time to discover all those annoying little niggles and find out what suits you best. |

Place in the sun
For those of you looking to buy your own little bolt-hole abroad getting around to view the many places on offer can be quite a problem if you are dependent on public transport and taxis when you get there. A motorhome is the ideal way to view at your leisure and linger near the ones you like best to get a feel for the surroundings. You also don't have the hassle of packing up and moving from hotel to hotel if you want to look in more than one location - just turn the key in the ignition and off you go! |

Ski wagon
As well as being centrally heated our motorhomes have all the storage you need for your ski gear. Just park near the slope you want to ski and gear up. Your centrally heated home-from-home will be waiting for you after a hard day on the slopes. Just flop and have a nice cup of tea (or something stronger!) followed by a hot shower. Aaaah. Sure beats flogging miles back to the chalet or hotel! Think of all the different slopes you could try?
And we all know how expensive skiing holidays can be. As well as the accommodation one of the most expensive elements of skiing is the cost of eating and drinking in restaurants, not only on the piste but in the resort. With a motorhome you can take the food you like, even stop for duty free on the way, and have all the facilities on board to prepare your own gastronomical delights at a fraction of the cost. Camping doesn't necessarily mean having to forgo the luxuries you may receive in a hotel either. Many campsites offer access to a sauna, solarium, full size indoor swimming pool, laundry and showering facilities. |
